1M Learning Update

Central idea: Animals may need different things to survive.

This week has been full of learning and 1M have been fantastic learners. This week we have been exploring our third line of inquiry 'Peoples lifestyles may affect how they interact with living things'. Together, we chose to explore veganism. We began researching veganism and then explored a vegan salad together. We chopped and sliced and made our delicious Summer Happiness Salad.

In maths, we have taken advantage of the fantastic weather and explored capacity using water outside in the EYFS garden. We used language such as full, empty, almost full, half empty. We continued moving forward in maths and began exploring time. 1M understood time really well and now we can tell time to the half hour!

We took instruments outside and sang songs focusing on rhythm. 1M are fantastic performers.
