Big round of applause for our Team 6A Leaders of the Month, Anthony Smith and Makenzie de Ruiter!
These two show up every day with smiles so bright they practically need sunglasses. They ask awesome questions, stand up for themselves, and are the kind of classmates you actually want to sit next to. They’re helpful, polite, kind, and basically the definition of “student leader” — without even needing a cape! So let’s hear it for Anthony and Mackenzie, who have officially earned the title of Team 6A Legends of September. All of your teachers and Teaching Assistants are proud of the two of you.

Ryan Dunne is the STEAM leader of the Month. During our Sandlot Engineering Challenge Ryan Dunne made a decision that he wanted to rescue the ball with a lasso system. Ryan and his partner struggled to make this idea work, but he persevered and eventually made one of the most successful designs this year. Congratulations Ryan!
