Team 6A has welcomed all of the 6th graders to MJS!  While they have all done an amazing job getting used to this new environment, two students have stood out as Leaders of Team 6A! We want to acknowledge Elisabeth Kupper and Wallace Nuttycombe as our September Leaders of the Month.  They always participate in their classes and bring positive energy to the 6th grade.  With their peers and teachers alike, they are always friendly and polite.  We congratulate Wallace & Elisabeth for earning the first Team 6A Leaders of the Month!  Who will be our spooky Leaders of the Month for October?

Team 6B is off to an awesome start this school year! We have two very trustworthy students who exemplify what it means to be leaders of the month. Congratulations to Alison Ostberg and Miguel Sandoval! 

Both Alison and Miguel are very hard working and conscientious. They are helpful and respectful to their peers as well as adults.  Their positive attitude is absolutely contagious and brightens our classroom every day. Way to go Alison and Miguel! 

September was full of new experiences and challenges for our seventh graders, and we are so proud of how our Leaders of the Month jumped into action from day one. Emmanuel Cardona Castano and Juniper Brown are always mindful and are quick to ask questions and participate in class.  They have a positive, upbeat energy that inspires everyone around them.  Congratulations, Emmanuel & Juniper!

The 7B Team has had a great beginning of the 24-25 school year and we are so proud of the strong start demonstrated by our September Leaders of the Month - Hamish de Freitas and Riley Porciello. Both Hamish and Riley are true leaders amongst their peers. They are very driven to excel in school and are happy to put the work in to ensure that happens. Hamish and Riley have their goals set high and are working towards them with every decision they make. Congratulations to you both!

Congratulations to Vinny Trebing & Noku Saki for being team 8A’s leaders of the month for September. 

We are incredibly proud of Vinny and Noku for their outstanding start to the school year. Both have set a high standard through their active participation and positive influence in the classroom. Vinny’s effort and dedication to his work stand out in his classes. Noku’s kindness and thoughtful support of her peers is a model for her classmates. Keep up the great work!

TJ stands out as a leader because of his ability to collaborate effectively, think deeply, and support his peers. His quiet leadership style proves that leading by example can be just as powerful as leading with words, making him an invaluable part of the class community.

Effie’s combination of hard work, kindness, and helpfulness has made an impact on the classroom environment. She embodies what it means to be a true leader by balancing academic excellence with genuine care for her peers.
