Team 6A wants to celebrate some students who represent perseverance and respect the rights, beliefs, and opinions of others. Additionally, both students have been caught helping others and always doing the right thing. These two students are honest, on time, set a positive example for their peers, and always look out for their fellow classmates. Who are those two students? The Team 6A Leaders of the Month for February are Nina Alonso and Liam Piekara. We are proud of you and all of our students who are future leaders!
Our hearts are full because of our beautiful leaders of the month for February. Bravo to Marie Bouvart and Grace Rickli! Marie does a wonderful job involving her peers in group activities. She has a very giving heart. Grace comes to class everyday with a smile on her face, and brightens up the room. She never hesitates to lend a helping hand to her fellow classmates. Both Marie and Grace are great examples of what it means to be a true leader in MJS! Keep up the good work Marie and Grace!
To the tune of Nat King Cole’s LOVE:
L is for the love of learning they have
O, for being so observant in class
V, they're very, very extraordinary
E is every door their minds are open to explore
And 7A sends much respect to you,
Lilly F. and Teddy Franklin, too.
Month of February, our leaders
Great writers--and great readers,
Lilly, Teddy woo-hoo!
Charlotte Zary and Lucas Ribeiro are 7Bs February Leaders of the month.
These students are true blue leaders demonstrating strength in their academics, group work, and peer relationships. They always give 110% effort in everything they do. They are curious learners who ask questions. They show their love of learning through and through. Congrats! Keep up the good work.
Team 8B Leaders of the Month are Akiva Reddy & Talia Orama!
Both Akiva and Talia always have a positive attitude in and out of the classroom. They are clear leaders in class discussions and activities. They consistently demonstrate respect toward their peers and teachers, actively listening to their perspectives and valuing their contributions. We commend both students for their role in creating an inclusive community at MJS.
Please join the team 8B teachers in celebrating Lily Washington and Connor Mirzaian as Leaders of the Month! Their consistent politeness, respectfulness, and diligent engagement in their work make them exemplary role models. They both also treat classmates and group members with kindness and patience when collaborating. Congratulations to both of them on this well-deserved recognition!"
