Team 6A is delighted to welcome the longer, sunny days of spring and we are equally delighted to announce our Leaders of the Month for April. Claire Somers and Lucas Carreon have consistently shown their bright side in the classroom by always doing their best work while kindly helping others along the way. Their cheerful personalities shine bright when they enter the classroom and when they eagerly rise to accept any challenge that may come along. Team 6A beams brightly as we congratulate Claire and Lucas!
Team 6B is so proud of our April Leader’s of the Month: Mark Mejia and Lucy Jacobson. These two students continually put their best efforts forward and are very responsible students. Mark and Lucy always offer a helping hand to their teachers and peers. They also contribute to class discussions, work well with their peers in groups, and always strive to do their best. Both Lucy and Mark are exemplary leaders at MJS. We are so lucky to have you on our team!
Team 7A feeling happy as we spring from April into May, and our Leaders of the Month for April bring a fresh, bright perspective into the classroom. Ari Malhotra and Emma Hamilton are great role models for others. Showing up for extra help to get homework done, asking questions in class, and collaborating with classmates -- all of this speaks to their ambition and focus. Congratulations, Ari and Emma!
The 7B teachers couldn’t be prouder to announce their choices for April leaders of the month - Lexi Currie and Zach Reichman. Both Lexi and Zach are leaders in the classroom, modeling what amazing students look like. Neither of them shy away from hard work and are constantly rising to meet challenges. To top it off, they are incredibly kind to their peers and teachers and enter each room with a positive, can-do attitude. We are so lucky to have Lexi and Zach as part of our 7B Team! Congratulations!
Team 8A is excited to celebrate Avery Ost and Mathia Osorio Giraldo as our April students of the month. Both students have impressed us with their calm demeanor, positive attitude, and dedication to their school work. Avery is always focused, kind, and ready to lend a hand. She makes everyone feel welcome and included. Mathias is calm, always on task, and is dedicated to his studies. His quiet determination and positive attitude make him a great role model. Thank you both for continuing to make our school one inclusive community, helping each other learn and grow! Keep up the great work!
Our April leaders of the month are Gustavo Kayano Talarico and Georgiana Nicotra.
Both Gustavo and Georgie are vibrant and enthusiastic members of our classroom community. Their positivity and enthusiasm for whatever subject we are exploring is contagious and is appreciated by both their teachers and their peers. They each bring their own personalities to class and make the learning environment more welcoming, pleasant and productive. We all thank you!
