One Score minus 8 years ago, our founding team 6A teachers brought forth on this continent two new leaders of the month, based on kindness and doing the right thing. The January leaders of the month have demonstrated leadership and empowerment. Claire Chase and Violet Rowley have been dedicated to all of the qualities that empower students for the good of both themselves and their peers. We are so proud of their academic achievements, but more importantly, we are proud of who they are as people as they are kind and helpful to all students and walk into class with a smile every single day. Congratulations to Claire Chase and Violet Rowley for being nominated and selected as our first two leaders of the month for 2024!
It looks like 2024 is going to be a banner year! Team 6B is proud to announce their January leaders of the month! Congratulations to Liam May and Mason Dewar! Both Liam and Mason are leaders during group work and encourage their fellow classmates to always try their best. They lead with quiet confidence and inspire those around them. Way to go! Clarissa Kong demonstrates self empowerment by always enthusiastically welcoming challenges with enrichment assignments and situations that allow her to direct her own learning. She likes to explore her interests in each subject matter through independent study and research. A top notch student, Clarissa is curious and motivated to reach her greatest potential in all that she engages in. She is respected by her classmates and by her teachers as she is a model student!
Connor Orwig is a motivated, eager to learn and self directed student. Connor utilizes his own strategies in his approach to any assignment which translates to his daily success. He is organized and methodical. One of his qualities is that he is innately curious and participates and collaborates in all classroom situations with great enthusiasm. Students look to work with Connor as he is a kind and positive influence who always is willing to help others.
Team 8A is nominating Will Guarino and Paulina Cienfuegos as students of the month for January.
Will is a role model student. He is a diligent worker, who even with a broken hand kept up with his work and his spirit. He is an active participant in classroom activities and collaborates well with his peers.
Paulina is kind, patient, and helpful. She works incredibly hard and is inclusive of others when working in small groups. Her positive attitude with her peers and her teachers set her apart in the classroom.
