Team 6A is proud to announce its two leaders of the month. Congratulations to Jackson Downing and Brielle Amiro! Jackson is described by one of his teachers as, “Always so quick to help, so happy to be in class and learn, willing to participate, and volunteers no matter what the task.” Brielle is described by one of her teachers as “A joy to have in class. She always has a smile on her face, works hard in the classroom, and has a very positive impact on her classmates.” They are both model students that set a positive example for their peers working hard not only for themselves but to help their peers as well. Their work ethic and focus on doing well is an inspiration to team 6A fitting the definition of being a leader. Congratulations to Brielle and Jackson!
Autumn greetings with 2 fantastic leaders of the month! We are proud to announce that we have two new leaders of the month to add to the 6B spooky pumpkin patch! Congratulations to Sophia Blanco and Colin Waldron! Sophia is honest and trustworthy, both in and out of the classroom. She seeks responsibility at every turn. Colin is thoughtful in his interactions with his peers. His respectful demeanor sets an example of excellence. Way to go Sophia and Colin! Have a BOO-tiful rest of the year!
Hands down, no one outworks Zoe Pastore....she always comes to class with a big smile, and everything she does reflects 110% effort. Zoe sets a terrific example for everyone in the classroom, and she is making impressive gains. Go, Zoe!
Desmond Browning is also 7A's student of the month. He's bright, upbeat, and inquisitive, no matter the task at hand. At all times, Desmond is fully invested in the task at hand. Desmond, keep up the great work!
Team 7B is thrilled to nominate Anna Facciani and Zach Link as our October Leaders of the Month. Anna is an incredibly hard-working student who is equally as kind to her teachers as she is to her peers. She is motivated, passionate and responsible. She impresses us each and every day with her positive, can-do attitude! Zach lights up a room as soon as he’s in it! His kind, respectful and hardworking demeanor coupled up with his light hearted personality make him a true asset to the team. Thank you both for being such an incredible part of the 7B Team.
Team 8A would like to nominate Julia Roffelsen and Santi Ospina Solarte as students of the month for October. Both students are incredibly hardworking and kind. Julia is always positive, upbeat, and an active participant in classroom discussions. Santi is very dedicated and comes before and after school to ensure he is keeping up with his assignments and reviewing material. Both students help contribute to a positive classroom environment and are role models of the leadership qualities we love to see within the MJS community. Keep up the good work!
Beckett Bradshaw is the kind of student who is always prepared and eager to dive into group activities, ready to take on any task that is needed. His contributions are marked by quality insights in class discussions, making him a valuable participant in the learning process. He is the epitome of what it means to be a curious learner. Alexandra Patella is a highly engaged and interested student who not only appreciates quality discussions but also actively supports her peers. Her enthusiastic involvement in class fosters a positive and collaborative environment, making her a great collaborator. Together, Beckett and Alexandra exemplify the essence of teamwork and participation in a learning community.
