Team 6B is proud to announce our January Leaders of the Month: Lia McFadden and Oliver Lieberman! Lia and Oliver embody the spirit of empowerment by inspiring those around them, showing confidence in their abilities, and encouraging others to do their best. They lead by example, tackle challenges with determination, and foster a positive and inclusive environment. Lia and Oliver’s actions remind us all of the power we have to make a difference. With their respectful manners and steady work effort, 7A'S Leaders of the Month rose to the top of the Nice List in December. Anabel Hsu and Lucas Donnelly approach class each day with bright-eyed, ready-to-go energy. Their attention to detail and willingness to tackle new challenges set a great example for others. Way to go, Anabel and Lucas!
As we reflect upon 2024, Team 7B is extremely grateful for the strong start we have had to this school year and the remarkable students who have made that possible. Two students that stand out to us and show true leadership are Liam May and Madison Hanson. Both Liam and Madison are level headed and hard working students. They are positive influences both in and out of the classroom. They are well respected by their teachers and their peers alike and we couldn’t be more proud of them. Keep up the good work!
Team 8A would like to recognize Eva Bolstad and Jeronimo Mazo Cardona as our January leaders of the month.
Eva stands out for her positive attitude and strong work ethic. She adds great ideas to class discussions, works well with her classmates, and always puts in her best effort.
Jeronimo shows leadership through his hard work and willingness to take initiative. He participates in class, asks for help when he needs it, and stays after to finish work without being asked. His positive attitude and focus make him a great example for others.

Emily Russell embodies the true essence of a student leader. She is a rockstar who consistently serves as a role model for her peers, demonstrating respect and kindness. Her classmates can always depend on her supportive nature and her work ethic.
Eugene Chae is on the ball with his studies, maintaining academic focus while balancing it with an engaging sense of humor. Eugene demonstrates that leadership isn't just about serious achievement, but also about bringing joy and lightness to the classroom. His ability to navigate academic challenges with a positive attitude makes him an exceptional student leader.
Ben DeGarcia is the Leader of the Month for SPANISH! Ben DeGarcia demonstrates inner strength and calm at the same time. He is self-motivated and has an intrinsic desire to learn. He has a talent for creating character voices when performing dialogues in Spanish.
Anne Zary is the Leader of the Month for ITALIAN! Anne brings so much creativity, joy, and fun to everything she does in Italian class! No matter what we are learning or doing in class, Anne embodies mindfulness through her true enjoyment of learning and being present in the moment. She is an exceptional student leader!
