Background Only Projection

Calendar Man connected his computer to the projector and turned the projector on. He can see his presentation on the computer, however, the projector is only displaying the desktop background for his class to view.Using F.L.I.P., help Calendar Man solve his dilemma.

First restart device.

Start at square one and restart the computer.

Look at lights and cables.

The projector lights should not be the issue. It is evident that the power is on and projecting light (to give the desktop background). The cables are connected correctly as we can see something displaying from his computer.


Investigate settings and alternate options.

In this case the display settings were set to extend the display. To fix this issue, see the directions to the right.

Duplicate Your Display

Put in Incident.

If the problem persists, go to LCPSGO and submit Incident via LANDesk Service Desk.
