Mentor Meetings Continue
As mentor meetings continue below are some reflections from mentors and students on working together and experiencing the process of the PYP Exhibition mentorship.
"It has been a wonderful experience being a part of Ruth’s PYP Exhibition process. I have particularly enjoyed working and learning alongside Ruth as she demonstrated her effective communication skills during her interviews with different women in our community. It was great to be involved in the discussions and learning about different perspectives on Women’s Rights in our society."
- Ms Alison Francis (Ruth's mentor)
"I have enjoyed every minute of the time I have spent with my mentee so far this year. He always comes to our meetings prepared with questions to ask or tasks for us to do together. He is clearly doing a lot of research and is always eager to share new information and asks for advice on how or where to inquire further into something. It has been great to see his confidence and independence increase during this process."
-Ms Alison Mollel (Paolo's mentor)
"Amin is a very passionate student who asks good questions, is open-minded and uses feedback to develop his lines of inquiry and research. It's been really fun working with him."
-Mr Andy (Amin's Mentor)
"Jason has been positive, focused and shown initiative. He has taken his inquiry seriously and sought data from a range of primary and secondary sources."
-Mr Chris (Jason's Mentor)
"It's been so great to work with Daniela and see her knowledge and understandings of her topic evolve. She has shown maturity and great organisational skills along the way."
-Ms Julz (Daniela's mentor)
"It has been a pleasure to be Lukui’s Y6 Exhibition Mentor. He is really motivated to learn more about how football can help change the lives of people living in poverty. I’ve been enjoying learning about it too!"
-Ms Gillian (Lukui's mentor)
"I really like working with my mentor, Ms Louise. She is very nice to me, even though I sometimes forget my meetings. She is helping me be more organised."
-Geanine (6.2)
"It has felt really good to work with Ms Lindsay. She has helped me through the hard stuff like finding websites and resources. She is like a guardian angel helping me with everything"
-Eliane (6.2)
"I like working with Ms Jess because she shares her experiences and helps me with primary information. She's really nice to talk to and has lots of helpful suggestions."
-Ambrozia (6.2)

Swimming Exposition
Students had the opportunity to share their learning in swimming lessons with parents and teachers at their Swimming Exposition. They built rafts, played Quiditch, showed off their strokes and reflected on their progress.
