MACHU PICCHU SHAPE

Many Incas' cities have a special shape that refers to Incan cosmology.

Machu Picchu is shaped like a condor, a bird that symbolizes the world of celestial divinity.

ANTI-SEISMIC SITE

Even today we don't know how this site could have been built, because the Incas didn't know the wheel, so how could the stone be brought to the top of the mountain?

Moreover, between the stones there isn't any type of concrete or mortar, but the site is so strong that it resists earthquakes, even though Peru is a highly seismic country.

In fact it has been built on the top of two faults lines, and the stones have been put and wedged so tightly together that they follow earthquake movements and suffer no damage.

INCATHON

The Inca Trail is by far the most famous trek in South America, it's 42 km long, it's so hard as a route, and the record with which it has been covered is 4 hours.

It is difficult not only because it is long, but also for the altitude difference. Anyway your effort will be repaid by the amazing views that you will see.
