Have you ever thought on seeing the world from another print of view? If the answer is yes you will be able to go to the most higt skyscraper in the world and if the answer no...now you know the best experience of all.

The tower’s overall design was inspired by the geometries of a regional desert flower (the flower of hymenocallis ) and the patterning systems embodied in Islamic architecture.

The tower is composed of three elements arranged around a central core. The modular, Y-shaped structure, with setbacks along each of its three wings, provides an inherently stable configuration for the structure and provides good floor plates for residential. Twenty-six helical levels decrease the cross-section of the tower incrementally as it spirals skyward.

The central core emerges at the top and culminates in a sculpted spire. A Y-shaped floor plan maximizes views of the Arabian Gulf. Viewed from the base or the air, Burj Khalifa is evocative of the onion domes prevalent in Islamic architecture.

Built of reinforced concrete and clad in glass, the tower is composed of sculpted volumes arranged around a central buttressed core. As the tower rises from a flat base, setbacks occur in an upward spiraling pattern, reducing the building’s mass as it reaches skyward. At the pinnacle, the central core emerges and forms a spire.

The design of the foundations required a careful and in-depth geological analysis of the soil which revealed very favorable soil conditions for such deep drilling in a relatively soft sandstone soil but with high stability of the excavation walls. The foundations created are piling and consist of 192 bored piles up to 1.5 meters in diameter that penetrate the ground up to 50 meters deep for a total of 45,000 cubic meters of concrete. The foundation slab is 3.7 meters thick and made with three distinct castings of reinforced concrete with high density and low permeability with cathodic protection.

The centerpiece of a large mixed-use development, the Burj Khalifa contains offices, retail space, residential units, and a Giorgio Armani hotel. A Y-shaped floor plan maximizes views of the Arabian Gulf. At ground level, the skyscraper is surrounded by green space, water features, and pedestrian-friendly boulevards.
