A warm welcome back to the summer term! We hope you all enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating Easter break.
This term promises to be a period of vibrant learning and exploration for our pupils. We have exciting topics planned across the whole school curriculum. The summer months often provide a wonderful opportunity for outdoor learning and we will be incorporating engaging activities that take advantage of the sunny weather this term.
Please mark your calendars for any important summer diary dates. Further details about individual events will be communicated in due course.
We hope you have a fantastic term!
The Year 5 cohort are on their return home journey after a highly successful residential trip to Devon, offering them a rich learning experience beyond the classroom walls. The trip aimed to foster independence, teamwork and resilience.
Pupils participated in a variety of engaging activities throughout the trip. Pupils enjoyed exploring the Devon coastline, took part in paddle boarding and kayaking and loved visiting the Big Sheep! Time was well spent exploring Westword Ho beach, navigating the high ropes and Total Wipeout Course. Not to mention surfing and coasteering!
The Year 5 residential trip to Devon served as a powerful learning experience that will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on our pupils. Their positive attitudes and willingness to tackle challenges with enthusiasm impressed all of the Staff in Devon. Well done Year 5!
We particularly must highight the chidren's impeccable behaviour at all times whilst on the trip as they have been a credit to both the school and their parents!
