The Eco Hub community gathers to celebrate accomplishments, plan activities, and establish/remind community standards. Overseen by an adult, the intent is to be learner led and community driven.

Learners participate in a range of activities focused on well-being, from movement led activities, to self-guided activities.

Learning Guides and learners share their passions and interests through workshops offered to the Community. Besides growing choice and autonomy, it also aims to give adults and learners moments of joy, connection, and the chance to spread passions and play.

Learners have the freedom to play, tinker, explore, discover and develop their passions, through exploration of a variety of materials, access to skill-building workshops and/or self-guided projects that are iterated based on feedback and presented to an audience.

A dynamic environment where learners cultivate mathematical thinking through prepared stations, engaging and fun mathematical challenges, and guided math labs, fostering a deep understanding and enjoyment of mathematics.

Numeric Systems

Learners learn by engaging actively in a real-world topic and personally meaningful projects. Learners gain a deeper understanding of the topic and make connection with their knowledge, by researching and interacting with a relevant audience, and developing a public product.

Learners are guided through different workshops, which are genre based and aim to develop the ability of learners to express themselves successfully written and orally. Throughout the workshops, learners expand their toolkit of how language works, in order to grow literacy skills as a means of communication.
