Guidelines:
The District/Authority Scholarships recognize graduating BC students for excellence in their chosen areas of interest or strength. These scholarships are intended to help students pursue post-secondary education.
The Ministry will allocate 5500 awards pro-rated to school districts and independent school authorities based on their September 30th Grade 12 enrolments. The award is a $1250 voucher that can be used toward post-secondary education tuition.

Choose an area of interest:
Area of interest
a. Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies (Ex. Business, Home Economics, Media Arts, Technology, Tourism)
b. Community Service (Volunteer Activity) ( Includes awareness of local, global, and cultural issues)
c. Fine Arts (Ex. Dance, Drama, Music, Visual Arts)
d. Indigenous Languages and Culture (Demonstrated at school or in the community)
e. Languages (External Assessments or Languages Curriculum, including AP and IB courses)
f. Physical Activity (and Health) (Ex. Athletics, Dance, Gymnastics)
g. Technical and Trades Training (Ex. Coding, Culinary Arts, Mechanics, Robotics, Woodwork)
Write a one page statement that describes your achievement in your area of interest.
Include your courses and extracurricular activities related to your area of interest.
Please list a minimum of two teachers and/or community members who can attest to your achievements in your chosen area of interest and will be providing a written reference on your behalf.
Print out the application and submit to either Ms. Pyne (room 128) or Ms. Arnold (counselling)
