March Scholarships

Ministry of Education: District/Authority Scholarship 

Guidelines:

The District/Authority Scholarships recognize graduating BC students for excellence in their chosen areas of interest or strength. These scholarships are intended to help students pursue post-secondary education.

The Ministry will allocate 5500 awards pro-rated to school districts and independent school authorities based on their September 30th Grade 12 enrolments. The award is a $1250 voucher that can be used toward post-secondary education tuition.

Due: March 12th, 2026 @ noon

If you’re applying to CapU as a new student, you can also apply for the entrance awards. 

Deadline for apply online is March 1, 2026. 

RE/MAX Canada is now accepting submissions for the 2025 RE/MAX Quest for Excellence scholarship program, which is open from September 12th, 2024 through to March 13th, 2025. The annual program awards a $1,000 scholarship to 40 graduating high-school students in Canada, presented during their commencement ceremonies. 

Due Date: March 6, 2026

A financial assistance program for students enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in a Canadian University or affiliated college. 

Due Date: March 31, 2026

If you have already applied to the University of Alberta, be sure to look for bursaries and scholarships you might be entitled to receive.

Due date : March 1-15th

The Žarko Perko Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two students annually. Each scholarship will be $2,500 and awarded to a female and a male student who have at least one parent of Croatian ancestry graduating from a secondary school in British Columbia in 2025 and entering a post-secondary institution.

The BC Hydro Power Pioneers annual Community Service Award recognizes students who dedicate a significant amount of their time and energy to volunteering in their local communities. 

Due Date March 31st, 2026.
