Nathan Alexander Bursary

Award Details

​This bursary is $1500 awarded annually to a Vancouver Island musician.  Applications will be taken from November 15th until December 15th.  It will be awarded January 2nd of every year to honor Nathan and continue his legacy.  The prize is given through a store credit of the winner's choosing.  In the case of recording or lessons, a foundation member would meet the recorder/music teacher/see the studio and pay them directly.  


Entries must be from applicants 10 to 25 years old, who are desperately trying to practice/write/perform their music and could use financial aid for their musical resources (gear, instructional time, recording time, etc.).  Applicants can submit a written proposal as to why they are the best suited to receive the $ 1,500 annual NATHAN ALEXANDER BURSARY.  After written submissions are vetted, an additional phone/skype/in-person interview may be held for the final 3-5 applicants.
