Sarku

I was just walking through the door, when I almost fainted from the smell.

Well, to be more precise, as I was walking in the restaurant, Sarku Japan, I nearly fainted from the smell of perfectly grilled chicken and deep brown fried rice which hit me like a punch in the face. The smell of the restaurant's famous teriyaki created an aroma which basically drew customers to order the restaurant’s food.

So in reaction to that smell, I went to the cashier in order to buy some of their teriyaki. Unfortunately, they had various kinds of delicious looking teriyaki and I just couldn’t make up my mind. Thankfully, the kind cashier came to my rescue, offering me some recommendations and even giving me a coupon. After making my order, I was given what looked like a black box with LED lights to alert me when my order was ready.

As I was waiting for my food, I could see the chefs preparing the food in the kitchen from behind the cashier. Similar to when one goes to a restaurant where the chef cooks in front of you, I was given plenty of entertainment during my wait. Without realising time passed so quickly, the black box I was given started to ring and I went to pick up my food.

If I were to be asked what I enjoyed most about Sarku it would undoubtedly be its food. The sushi smoothly broke into pieces in my mouth and tingled the very edges of my taste buds. The salad that was given as a side was mixed into a sweet sauce that brought out the flavors of the vegetables and turn the dish to the slightly unhealthy side.The coupon the cashier gave me got me an additional side of dumplings tasted wonderful when dipped into soy sauce. But, when it comes to igniting one’s taste buds in delight, Sarku Japan’s famous teriyaki is one the best dishes to go with. The chicken teriyaki virtually melted into my mouth into a chewy and delightful flavor. With just a little bit of shrimp, the teriyaki was infused with the taste of seafood combined into the luscious flavor of the teriyaki sauce.

The next time you and I have a craving for japanese cuisine, this will be one of the first places that comes into our minds, wouldn’t you agree?
