Burger IM

The aroma that came rushing to me when I walked through the door and the sound of the sizzling that was purposely loud made sure I would leave with an unforgettable experience.

The addictive smell was a mixture of various freshly cooked meat sensations which travelled directly to my stomach, making me crave the food even more, if that’s possible. The sound of sizzling meat as it touches the oven top had me imagining its juices oozing out. This was all experienced seconds after stepping into Burger IM.

After being greeted with a warm smile from a staff member at the cashier, I began to place in my order. They have a build-your-own burger type menu which is easy to follow despite the wide variety of meat options - three types of beef (angus, dry aged, and spanish), salmon, falafel, lamb, and chicken. Saying that I went with friends, I got the Family Box which included eight burgers of your choice, eight wings, fries, and onion rings, all for $34.99. Pretty great deal I should say. Going alone, however, I tackled $11 for just an Uno dry aged beef burger and chip fries.

Sure I threw in a few extra dollars, but that only made me set the bar for higher expectations.

I immediately went to the appealing Freestyle Coke Machine that caught my eye. I mixed the Strawberry Minute Maid with Iced Tea to make a perfect combo where each sip was like a refreshing breeze down my throat. I enjoyed my drink while sitting on the counter stools, waiting for my food. The manager, an outgoing, friendly guy, was telling us the story behind Burger IM and the Hebrew translation of the store name which meant “more burgers”.

As we saw the box coming our way, excitement and rush of enthusiasm was all we were experiencing. The perfect look of the food almost brought tears of joy. After taking the first bite of the burger, I knew I had fallen in love - it was love at first bite. My taste buds had melted from the delicious blend of savory flavors dancing in my mouth. The spicy juices from the angus beef were dripping from my mouth onto the napkin on my lap which looked like a baby drooling after he had his milk. The burger passed my high expectations test without hesitation.

Between every few bites, I’d take a sip of my Oreo milkshake. Their milkshake consists of perfect portions of each ingredient that fabricate it to be fluffy and light like a cloud floating in your mouth.

The real plot twist is the taste of the original, perfectly seasoned sauce on the tender wings that make flavorful tastes of paradise. Not to mention the perfectly sized chip fries that are a mixture of crispy and smooth; they are crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside - a magical plate, in other words. Much like the onion rings which were cooked to the perfect crisp yet were still squishy. They definitely didn’t fail to impress me, as if they knew they were being tested.

Aside from the flawless food that I hoped would be an endless supply of satisfaction, the relaxed music that is measured to the most suitable volume adds a pleasant touch to the restaurant’s ambiance, alongside a television that keeps all the customers engaged and interested. Although some might argue that the television might be a distraction, it certainly is a part of the theme of fun and chill place to hang out at. It also provides customers, of all ages, a form of entertainment. The completing piece of the puzzle is the sight of smiling faces and sounds of laughter that come along with each consumer. I was definitely impressed and had no regrets or sensations of wasted money.

The customers weren’t the only ones wearing a spirited smile, every staff member was, too. The warm care from the staff that jumped from table to table as if it were on a trampoline was one of the many reasons Burger IM never disappoints. Not only do they take care of everybody while making sure they are satisfied, they have the superpower to keep every inch and corner of their shop clean.

Besides the fact that they find a way to customer’s stomachs and hearts, they have discovered a secret that seize their customer’s mind through temptation to return with their loyalty rewards program. For every dollar spent, points are earned towards free items off the menu. Some customers might believe it to be a scam, for free gifts are only received for way too high points; however, the store already has big, filling portions of food that are somewhat pricey, so points add up quickly.

Another important convenience the store offers is the free parking garage placed behind the store that is also used for visitors of Brambleton Town Centre. Burger IM is placed in the perfect spot with the Brambleton Movie Theatre, the Brambleton Library, other restaurants and interesting stores huddled around it. A few customers might argue that the place might be too small for large parties, their to-go combos and boxes, on the other hand, are just as perfect and can be enjoyed in the outdoor tables located in the center of the magnificent Brambleton Town Centre.

The journey at Burger IM was one that will stay embedded in my memories; the excelled burger and chip fries made sure of that. If someone is looking for enjoying a good burger with wings or onion rings, alongside a fuzzy milkshake or invigorating soda, then Burger IM is the place to go, hands down. Nothing beats having great, extraordinary food while having a fantastic, memorable time like a day spent at Burger IM. It was worth every penny spent; I’d do it again and keep doing it continuously.
