You've probably heard the saying, "When one door closes, another opens." From a 4th dimensional standpoint this is actually true.
For every door, there is a corresponding 4th dimensional anti-door. When you open a door, it's anti-door anti-opens. When you close a door, its anti-door anti-closes.
Now, you're probably thinking "isn't anti-closed the same as saying open?" The answer is: it's complicated.
This principle was discovered by the Alexandrian Highborne and is the primary physical law that permits teleportation. It doesn't just apply to doors. It also applies to windows, bags, and boxes.
So, it has been suggested that if Pandora's Box contained all suffering and misery that was released into the world when Pandora opened it, there is also a 4th dimensional anti-box (Pandora's Xob) containing all joy and happiness that was anti-opened at the same time.
While Pandora's Box exists forever in the past, Pandora's Xob exists always 1 instant in the future.
It is further suspected that if one were to pass into the 4th dimension, find Pandora's Xob, and anti-close it in 4th dimensional space, that it would un-open Pandora's box and thus prevent and eliminate all misery.
This leaves the question of: What if someone succeeded at un-opening Pandora's Box? Would Pandora's Xob be un-anti-opened and wipe out all human joy at the same time?
