Today in History  - The High Five Heard Across the Galaxy

Exactly 300 years ago today (9 November 2520) the Lo'orgi brothers set the record for fastest high five in history.

As a promotional stunt to demonstrate their new X-25 Space Suit prototype they had themselves launched towards each other at 1/5000 of the speed of light.

In a feat of aeronautic precision they completed the high five, totally liquefying their hand and most of the connected arm.

Despite the incredible impact the suits remained intact and functional allowing the brothers to be recovered and rushed to medical care. Just 2 weeks later they were seen at a charity gala on Mars sporting cybernetic replacement limbs.

Millennium Global purchased the patent immediately and to this day still produces suits in this same design.

Humans of the 26th century were sure crazy, but no one can say they didn't know how to have a good time.
