iOS/iPadOS Mail users
Hint: Mail is an email client included by default in iOS or iPadOS.
Get iOS/iPadOS Mail ready for KUMail by following the steps below.
If you already have other accounts in Mail, be sure to add KUMail as a new, separate account to prevent trouble.
1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account.
Note: If you're using iOS/iPadOS 13 or older, go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Add Account instead.)
2. Choose Google and tap Continue.
3. Enter your KUMail address and tap Next.
4. Sign in with your SPS-ID and password.
After you click Login, you'll be asked to authenticate with a second factor. For more on this multi-factor authentication, see Multi-Factor Authentication User's Guide.
5. Make sure that Mail is turned on for the new account and tap Save.
Hint: When it's enabled, the button turns green as in the image. If you want to sync Contacts and Calendars as well, turn them on too.
The Mail app on your iPhone or iPad is now ready for KUMail.
Note:
When you set up for the first time, it may take some time for the Gmail app to retrieve your messages. Don't close the app until it's over.
If you want to change your sender address (From address), you must add it to the web version of Gmail in advance.
