This was created using Book Creator and includes all of my work for LINC 75A: Introduction to Instructional Design.
My Digital Notebook demonstrates a Level 3: Implementation mastery of the A2 NSQ standard. This was my first project in Book Creator, which I really enjoyed using. I was able to learn and then independently create a finished project that I am proud of. I was able to use the given templates set up in the notebook and adapt them to create my own content. I believe I was able to successfully and genuinely reflect on Phase 1 of the OBI program, and clearly share my thoughts in my digital notebook.
As I am a visual learner, this tool was much more effective for my learning style than typing up a report. This would be a fun and engaging tool for students to create and present their work. Many students use Google Slides, but I think Book Creator is more fun and flexible. If I had the opportunity, I think I could confidently take this tool further and use it in an online classroom.
I think my Digital Notebook also touched on the E3 NSQ standard: The online teacher models and complies with intellectual property policies and fair-use standards and reinforces their use with learners. Part of this project was learning about fair-use and I think I effectively used the Creative Commons license for some embedded content on one of my page spreads.
