Zilaiskalns

Zilaiskalns, which is known from many tales and stories, is a symbol of freedom and immortality of the nation. Nowadays it is a place where people can gain and restore strength. Zilaiskalns was especially holy place for ancient nations - people celebrated their honors here and carried out ancient rituals. Although many celebrations has been carried out in Zilaiskalns nowadays as well, people’s comprehension about significance of this place has changed. The location is known as the ancient cult place and it is made from trees, mount peeks, springs and cult rocks.
