Grebu Mound

Nowadays mound is the holy place of Tālava congregation. In 1993, sculptor Bērtulis Buls, on the foot of the mound carved the mould “Ganiņš” (eng. Shepherd) in the rock. The mound is located 10 km from Dikļi Parish centre. It is 10 metres high, round shaped mount, with strengthened edges. 50 metres to North, there is a second mound - Bļoda Hill (eng. Bowl). The pair of the mounds might be the evidence of bigger ancient city centre.
