Lake Vaidava

Lake Vaidava is located in specially protected Natura 2000 territory, in Gauja National Park. Average depth of the lake is 5,3 metres, maximum depth - 9,0 metres. In lake you can find such fishes as pike, perch, roach, crucian, tench, zander and more. If you are planning to go fishing on lake Vaidava, you have to purchase fishing license. Licensed fishing in lake is organized in order to regulate the impact of anglers on the environment and create favorable conditions for the protection and rational use of fish stocks.
