About the Club

Club members will explore different genres and styles through brief writing exercises and feedback sessions. There will also be time for creating original pieces of writing to submit to prestigious international competitions such as Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, Teen Ink, and Claremont Review.

Goals And Objectives

The goal of this club is to publish two editions of Phoenix Word a year and possibly add visual collaborators such as photography students. Moreover the club also aims to have group members contribute to out of school writing competitions or publications and give students a place to write creatively and receive critique from their peers.
