KIS Makers is a club that dedicates its time and effort to students who are passionate about prototype designing, inventing, and making.
This club primarily utilizes CAD software like SketchUp or Fusion 360 to create digital designs. Beginners to 3D modeling will be provided an introduction to the software, and more advanced members are provided a good environment to improve. Throughout the semester, students are encouraged to participate in different projects or challenges, where students create designs using CAD, and then make their designs into reality. Students may collaborate with other club members, or even choose to work on their own projects.
Club members are welcome to use any of the tools or machines in the stem suite, including the array of 3D printers, laser cutters, and woodcutters.
1. Club members demonstrate growth in their design, and 3D modeling capabilities
2. Club members actively work on projects (either cooperatively or individually), and finish by their own suspected deadlines
3. Club members contribute new ideas to the club, and demonstrate their passion for computer-aided design.
