Phoenix Talks is a club dedicated to connecting students with experts in their fields, exposing them to various career and academic paths. Experts include professors, students, alumni, and more. Phoenix Talks will host 2 sessions of 3 talks given by these experts per semester, and talks will be either in-person at school or online during lunchtime. Each session will be of a specific thematic focus. Talks are spread out over a week, with one speaker per talk. Experts will talk about what they do, how they got to where they are, and helpful advice. At the end of the talk, there will also be time for Q&A from students. Members will reach out to experts, deal with the specifics, and manage media and promotion to bring the talks to the KIS student body.Â
