Competitive Programming is a roster-based club that will train students to compete in programming competitions. Competitive Programming will focus on solving complex programming problems instead of building projects. Skills such as algorithm building and problem-solving will be gained. Members of the Competitive Programming club will solve competition questions together and have In-club competitions simulating the situation of major individual and team-based programming competitions such as the USACO, Google Kickstart, and ACSL. The skills gained from this club will benefit all students, as problem-solving skills are needed in all fields.
1.Members of Competitive Programming will pass the USACO Bronze competition and reach the Silver Division by the end of the Semester
2.Members will participate in the in-club competitions throughout the year
3.Members will gain extensive experience and growth in STEM skills such as problem-solving
4.KIS will form a team and compete in the ACSL, the largest team-based programming competition, competing against other schools and countries.
