MIT Students

We were so excited to welcome Cindy and Yi Lin, both Engineering students from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Cindy and Yi Lin visited the KISJ campus and held Q&A/chat sessions exclusively for MS and HS dorm students. We had a great turnout as many students were very eager to chat and learn more about university life.

매사추세츠 공과대학(MIT)의 공학 전공생인 Cindy와 Yi Lin을 맞이하게 되어 매우 기뻤습니다. Cindy와 Yi Lin은 KISJ 캠퍼스를 방문하여 중등 및 고등 기숙사 학생들을 위한 질의응답 및 담소의 시간을 가졌습니다. 많은 학생들이 대학 생활에 관해 이야기를 나누고 더 많은 것을 배우고 싶어 한만큼, 매우 높은 참여율을 보였습니다.

Holiday Activities

In the dorms, the holiday season is always a fun time as we focus on gratitude, compassion and serving others. This year students participated in a gift wrapping party along with Jeju Fury, an organization that serves local communities. The Dorm Leadership Committee (DLC) hosted a snack cafe to help ease stress during exam week.

감사, 연민 그리고 봉사에 집중하는 우리 기숙사에서의 연휴는 항상 즐거운 시간입니다. 올해 우리 학생들은 지역사회 봉사 단체인 제주 퓨리와 함께 선물 포장 행사에 참여하였습니다. 기숙사 학생회(DLC)는 시험 기간 스트레스 해소를 돕기 위해 간식 카페를 열었습니다.

S'mores Night

Before the weather turned too cold, staff hosted a S'mores night for G9/10 boys. The warm, gooey goodness put everyone in a good mood for the night.

날씨가 너무 추워지기 전에, 사감 선생님들은 9/10학년 남학생들을 위해 S'mores Night를 주최했습니다. 따끈하고 쫀득한 맛이 모두에게 기분 좋은 야간의 분위기를 만들어 주었습니다.

Little Prince Tangerine Farm and Cafe

Students enjoyed a field trip to a very unique farm and cafe where they could pick tangerines and enjoy a variety of animals.

학생들은 귤을 따고 다양한 동물들을 볼 수 있는 아주 특별한 농장 겸 카페로 즐겁게 견학을 다녀왔습니다.

House Cup

Recent house cup events included "The Tower of Babel" and "Junk in the Trunk". Students had fun competing in the challenges to win points for their house.

최근 하우스 컵 이벤트로는 "바벨 탑"과 "Junk in the Trunk"가 있습니다. 학생들은 자신의 하우스를 위해 점수를 얻고자 도전하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

Wellness Club

The wellness club made slime which is said to activate the senses and help increase attention span and overall focus. Slime is fun to make and even more fun to play with.

웰니스 클럽에서는 슬라임을 만들었습니다. 슬라임은 감각을 활성화하고 주의력의 확장 및 전반적인 집중력을 향상시키는 데 도움이 된다고 알려져 있습니다. 슬라임은 만들기도 재밌지만 가지고 놀기에는 더 재미있습니다.

House Dinners

As semester 1 comes to a close, dorm staff often arrange house dinners as a special event for dorms students. Memories are made as students enjoy good food and fun with their friends.

1학기가 끝나갈 무렵, 사감 선생님들은 기숙사 학생들을 위한 특별 이벤트로 하우스 디너를 준비하곤 합니다. 학생들은 친구들과 맛있는 음식을 먹고 즐기며 추억을 만들었습니다.

House Snacks

Dorm students don't need to go out to enjoy delicious food. Whether they order in, or help prepare snacks with staff, cooking and eating is a popular activity in the house lounges.

기숙사 학생들은 맛있는 음식을 먹기 위해 밖에 나갈 필요가 없습니다. 배달 음식을 주문하거나, 사감 선생님을 도와 간식을 준비하는 등 요리하기와 간식 먹기는 하우스 라운지에서 매우 인기 있는 활동입니다.
