AB212 Staff Retention Program

The AB212 Staff Retention Program offers annual stipends based on educational advancement and professional development to early childhood educators working in agencies supported by state-funded child development contracts. The purpose of the AB212 program is to encourage attainment of higher-level college degrees and continued professional growth, both of which ultimately increase the quality of preschool and child care services in Kings County. The AB212 Staff Retention Program is funded by the California Department of Education and works closely with school districts, child development centers, and family child care providers serving infants through school-age children.

These stipends will only be given to KCCAQ participants who are attending the training for the first time. You do not qualify for the stipend if you have attended in previous years.
