This section is intended to serve as a resource for Kings County QRIS Participants.
By participating in a QRIS program, FCCH and center staff members are able to embark on a path of continuous quality improvement. FCCH and centers who meet the lowest QRIS matrix standards have achieved levels of quality that are beyond the minimum state requirements to operate.
A QRIS program may vary significantly in terms of the content and the process involved in rating. A fully functioning QRIS program will include the following components:

QRIS program support staff and coaches will work with participants in identifying areas of improvement. These ideas will be collaboratively crafted on a document named the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
Should your site be scheduled to be rated this program year, you will be contacted by either Marlene Tapia or Mona Aguilar. These QRIS program support staff will guide your site through the rating process.
