The Organization Management System allows users to create on-line registrations for your professional development workshops, meetings, and special events.
1. Go to: http://www.kings.k12.ca.us (The Page will look like this)
2. Scroll over the “Teachers” Tab
3. Click on the “OMS” Icon
4. Or you could also go directly by typing: http://kings.k12oms.org/
5. It will take you to the current OMS calendar. Click on the event you would like to register for. (All of the KCCAQ/CARES events will be titled KCCAQ/CARES and then followed by the workshop name).
6. Once you click on the even it will take you to the workshop details. Read the workshop details and make sure this is the correct workshop. Click on the yellow box on the right hand side that says “Click here to register.”
7. Fill out the registration form. Make sure to fill in all areas with a red asterisk * next to it.
a. Enter work or personal email. This is where your confirmation will be sent.
b. Enter home, cell, or work phone number. This is where you be contacted in case of cancellation or change of location.
c. Instructional Assistants may choose the “Classroom Teacher” position category.
d. If you are a school district employee and your center is under the jurisdiction of a school district, click the first bullet that says, “I currently work for a California school, district, or county office.” If you work at a center that is independently managed, click the bullet that says, “I do NOT work for a California school, district, or county office.” Non School Centers: Enter the name of your center and enter the address.
8. Click the yellow button on the button that says “Submit Registration”
9. The next page you see will be your confirmation page. It is NOT confirming your space in the training; it is confirming your registration. Your status is pending until you receive a confirmation email. You may print this page for your records by clicking on the print statement.
*If you would like to print your confirmation page, one option is to hold the “Control key” and press the “P” key at the same time. Then press print when the screen pops up.
