Professional Learning Community

Professional Learning Community (PLC). The PLC's goal is to facilitate and provide support about hands on curriculum activities for parents and their children, exchanging resources and informational techniques to families and their young children in Kings County. There are four meetings scheduled during the fiscal year 2017-18. The meetings consist of networking, discussions regarding curriculum, Spotlight Services Approach, celebrate strengths, offer strategies to face challenges, exchange resources, and share community announcements as well as seasonal events.

PLC Members are from the following agencies:

• Corcoran Family Connection
• Hanford Family Connection
• Kettleman City Family Connection
• KCAO Resources and Referrals
• KCOE KCCAQ ECE Department
• Lemoore Family Connection
• UCP Parent and Me-Family Resource Centers*

Our first meeting is scheduled in September 28, 2017 at the Lemoore Family Connection at 2:00pm a Meetings are usually 1 hour 30 minutes and we rotate each time at different FRC location within Kings county.
