Collaborating Agencies

KCCAQ proudly partners with agencies that support the professional development of early childhood educators and that promote improvements in services to young children. Listed below are the professional associations that KCCAQ is currently partnering with.

Kings Community Action Organization (KCAO)-Resource & Referral (R&R)Program

(R&R) Program helps parents find quality child care, provides information about state licensing, gives information on childcare subsidy programs and provides technical assistance to child care providers. Choosing childcare is one of the most important decisions a family will ever make, therefore, R & R helps to tailor childcare to the family’s individual needs.

Foster and Kinship Care Education Program

The Foster and Kinship Care Education (FKCE) Program provides quality education and support activities to the caregivers of children and youth in out-of-home care so that these providers may meet the educational, emotional, behavioral and developmental needs of children and youth.

FKCE provides free classes, workshops and conferences in Tulare and Kings Counties in Central California.

Our programs are designed with Foster and Kinship Care providers in mind, helping to bridge the gap between questions and answers. Most classes are open to the general public, and are free of charge, unless otherwise noted.

California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN)-

Region 7 Central Valley-Fresno, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, and Tulare counties

The California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN) is brought to you by the California Department of Education, Early Education and Support Division in collaboration with the Center for Child and Family Studies at WestEd and the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA). CPIN provides high quality professional development for preschool administrators and teachers highlighting current research-based information, resources, and effective instructional practices which are focused on preparing children to flourish in early childhood and succeed in elementary school and beyond.
