Dear parents,
This will be our last communication as a year group and what an ending to the year we have had!
The children have amazed us and been extremely resilient in all that they have done. From learning lines to meeting new people.
We started the week with our first performance to the parents and what a turn out it was. The children were not phased by how many faces were watching them and how brilliant they were.
We also had two visits to the Junior school for lunch in order for the children to get to know the hall, new friends, their teachers and a new playground. Once again, they showed us how resilient they were to change.
We then had our second performance on Thursday and a parent event on the KS2 playground. We would like to thank you for your commitment to these events and for being so supportive. The children loved seeing your faces at the events and we could see how proud you all were.
In addition to all these changes and events, we also completed some English, maths and science learning. In English we recapped learning how to use commas in a list and focused on some handwriting. In maths we learnt how to find a quarter and in science we learnt about the butterfly lifecycle.
It has been an amazing year of growth, resilience and change and we wish all of your children a really happy journey through junior school.
