At King's School Rochester, we welcome you to explore a truly unique and nurturing boarding school experience for your child. Our boarding community, comprising 15% of our total student body, is a diverse and vibrant tapestry of over 12 different nationalities. With only 50 boarders, we pride ourselves on the close-knit environment we've created, ensuring your child feels at home and settles in quickly.

As the second oldest school in the UK and the oldest Cathedral Choir School, King's Rochester boasts an impressive heritage. Our stunning campus, nestled between Rochester Castle and Cathedral, offers a serene setting just 40 minutes from Central London and easily accessible from major airports.

Our two boarding houses, School House for boys and St. Margaret's House for girls are beautiful historic buildings nestled in the heart of the school campus. The houses boast Tudor and Victorian charm and no two rooms are the same. Boys share rooms with a maximum of two other boys, and most older boys have their own rooms. Bathrooms are shared amongst a maximum of four boys. Girls share rooms with a maximum of one other girl, but most have their own room and ensuite bathroom. The historic buildings provide a comfortable and supportive environment, with modern amenities such as high-speed WiFi throughout, study rooms, and common areas for relaxation and camaraderie.
