Types of Leave & Timings

This type of leave is for being out of the house to a non-standard location (like visiting a friend's house). 

Can be submitted with only 3 h notice

Only valid for Saturdays/Sundays

Boarders in Prep, Remove and 5th form must return no later than  9pm.
Boarders in 6th form must return no later than 10pm. 

Type of leave that involves staying overnight at a non-boarding location

Must be submitted with 48 h notice

Valid Monday-Sunday

If returning on Sunday, it must be before 6pm (dinner time)

Type of leave that involves staying away at a non-boarding location for 2 nights on a weekend

Must be submitted by 11.59pm on a Wednesday night

Valid Friday-Sunday

If returning on Sunday, it must be before 6pm (dinner time)

Statutory requirement for boarders to declare where they will be and which adult will be responsible for them (including contact details) during school holidays

Must be submitted 1 week before school holiday starts

All boarders to depart no later than 6pm on day school closes.

All boarders to return between 4 and 6pm the day before school resumes.
