Head of Girl's Boarding
Mrs Hanson is the Head of Girls Boarding and also teaches Chemistry in the senior school. She has spent 6 years as a tutor before taking on the Head of House role in 2022. Mr Hanson works for the NHS in London having trained as a solicitor. Their children, Sophia (6) and Alexander (3) are in King's and love being surrounded by a house of "big sisters".
They are joined by their retired greyhound Indi who loves nothing more than an ear scratch and a cuddle.
House Parent
Mrs Buckley (affectionately called ‘Mrs B’) joined St Margaret’s Boarding House having been part of King’s for many years in the catering department. Mrs Buckley has worked in the girls boarding house for over 8 years and works weekday evenings. She is here every day when the girls come home from School. She looks after all of the daily needs of the girls, helping with bedding, washing, sewing, labelling clothing and helping with additional reading. She is the mum of the house.
Resident Tutor
Miss Lewis Joins us in Sept 2023, she lives with us in St Margaret's and teaches English.
Non-Resident Tutor
Miss O’Kelly is a Modern Foreign Language teacher based predominantly in the senior school. She has been part of the King’s community for over 10 years and joined the boarding house in 2022 as non-resident tutor, she has been an active part of Crick House having seen through three day form groups and is still an U6th form tutor.
