Rentals:

Students who are able are encouraged to rent their instrument.  We work with Gerry's Music Shop for all rentals and repairs.  A representative from Gerry's will come to KIS every Wednesday to pick up any instruments needing repairs as well as drop off any purchases or fixed instruments.

Repairs:

If your child's instrument need to be repaired (which will happen).  Below you can find information on what to do

The instrument is the School's:

• If you notice that something is wrong with your child's instrument please send an email to their director or put a note in the instrument case.  We will take a look at the instrument.  IF it is something that we can fix we will take care of it for you.  If it is something that needs to be sent out we will switch out the instrument  (if we have one) and send out the school owned instrument for repair.  The cost of the repair will be covered by the school unless there is history of neglect.

The instrument is my own:

• If you own the instrument and would like us to take a look to see if we can fix a minor problem we would be happy to try.  If it is a repair that needs to be sent out please contact Gerry's Music to schedule the instrument to be picked up from KIS for repair.  

The instrument is rented:

• Call Gerry's Music to schedule a pick-up or if you have the protection plan they will also be able to drop off the replacement instrument for you as well.
