8th Grade

The General Music Class is designed to give students an overview of many different musical concepts.  Students are encouraged to try their best, keep an open mind and be willing to make mistakes along the way.  That is after all how we learn!  

Students will get to play 2 different pitched instruments and will learn about the life and musical impact of a famous composer. .  They will learn some interesting things about the world of music copyright law and how that pertains to them as music consumers.   Students will also try their hand at musical composition through their keyboard work and musical technology.
