I am a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel serving over 22 years in various command and staff positions, and a third generation Military Veteran. My Grandfather served in the Army at a young age in WWI and my Father served in the US Air Force during Korea and Vietnam. I am a Veteran of OPERATIONS DESERT STORM and ENDURING FREEDOM serving in Afghanistan as an Embedded Trainer/Advisor to the Afghanistan National Army.
I teach the upper classmen Leadership Education and Training (LET) 2/3/4 and Military Science 1 and 2 Cadets.
I am in my 15th year teaching Army JROTC and I graduated from The Citadel in 1984. I Coach the Army JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl (JLAB) Teams, the Raider Team and the Air Rifle Marksmanship Team.

I am retired from the United States Army and served as an Infantryman. I am in my 2nd year at Lugoff-Elgin High School, but have been a JROTC Instructor for twelve years. I enjoy mentoring cadets and watching them develop through their high school years.
I coach the Color Guard and Drill Team which compete in the Greater Midlands Area Drill/Rifle Team League in the Fall Semester.
My significant awards and decorations are the Combat Infantryman Badge, Airborne Parachutist Badge and Drill Sergeant Badge. I deployed in the Theatre of Operations with the 82nd Airborne Division.
