JCLC is a camp at Fort Jackson for JROTC cadets. At JCLC you will go through some of the fun parts of basic, like: the 40 foot wall, drown proofing, high ropes and low ropes, canoeing, archery, air rifle shooting, confidence course and etc. You will sleep in barracks separated by gender and will eat 3 times a day. You will get an arc for going and have a great time!
To participate in JCLC, you must meet the criteria set by LTC. McDowell and be approved with signed permission forms. Information about JCLC is provided by the SAI and AI on the day of arrival to Fort Jackson. JCLC hosts a graduation ceremony in which parents may attend to see their cadets finishing the program.
