Leadership Education and Training (LET) is the core of every JROTC cadet's education. These classes use both hands-on activity and traditional study to create and engaging and effective approach at teaching students leadership qualities, teamwork skills, drill, and much more to cadets. LEHS offers classes for LET levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 students.
The next 2 weeks (8/21-8/31) ALL Cadets will be participating in the Cadet Challenge, this is a physical fitness test. It will encourage your Cadet to work harder and push their limits, it will make both their mind and their body stronger, as well as help with stress.
LET 1 classes are primarily freshmen classes designed to introduce new cadets to the basics of JROTC. Cadets in these classes are taught proper wear of the uniform, basic drill maneuvers, and general military and American citizenry knowledge. LET 1 classes are designed to be an informative introduction into the many opportunities offered by the LEHS JROTC program.
