The Drill Team specializes in all aspects of drill, including armed and unarmed, in order to instill greater discipline and foster better attention to detail in all cadets through practicing and mastering drill. The team practices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after school.
The Raider Team competes all across the state against other JROTC Programs in events such as the One-Rope Bridge, Vehicle Pull, Push-ups, Sit-ups, the litter carry, the 5K run, and various other events that embody physical fitness and TEAMWORK. The Raider Team practices every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school.

The LEHS Air Rifle Team practices target shooting with pellet air rifles. Marksmanship is developed through discipline, training, and regular competitions. The Air Rifle Team practices every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school. They competed in the JROTC 4th Brigade Best of Best Air Rifle Competition in 2018, 2021, and 2022, earning banners for their top 20 Finishes.
Air Rifle Team Captain - C/MAJ Zackery Fitch
The Color Guard presents and retrieves The Colors during ceremonies in order to patriotically honor the people who serve and have served for the flag. They compete in drill competitions scored by drill sergeants in the Kershaw County Brigade. The Color Guard practices every Monday, but during home color guard activities, practice will be the full week before.
Color Guard Team Captain - C/CSM Malik Hudson
The Saber team is a ceremonial team that honors important guests by executing saber lines in honoring and showing that person's importance. Examples: prom king and queen, high-ranking visitor, homecoming queen, etc. There are no competitions for the Sabre Team; however, practice is held 2 days before the specific activity.
