Each school year, JROTC sponsors a Blood Drive each semester in October and March. Cadets plan, prepare, and conduct each Blood Drive utilizing Cadets from all 4 blocks. Each year the LEHS Blood Drive receives 30-50 pints of blood that is distributed throughout North and South Carolina. Based on the number of units donated, a scholarship is awarded to a Senior who helps plan and work the Blood Drive.
The LEHS JROTC hosted a blood drive on October 15, 2025. We are grateful to those who signed up to donate blood, as well as to those who volunteered to assist!
Every year, JROTC hosts two blood drives, being in Fall and Spring. Only people of the age 16 and older can participate, 16-year-olds need a signed parental consent form. You WILL NOT be able to give blood if you are under 16 or do not have a signed parental consent form if you are the age of 16.
Students must sign up for a specific time in order to donate, if you do not sign up you will not be able to leave class to donate. Any adult or LEHS Staff/Faculty may walk-in to donate.
