WIDA

WIDA Assessment Overview

The WIDA assessment is the annual English proficiency assessment for Multilingual Learners. It is taken in Feb-March each year. Students need to take this test each year until they demonstrate proficiency on the WIDA. 

New to the district Multilingual Learners must also be given the WIDA screening test within 30 days of entry. This assessment is used to determine appropriate placement and supports for students.
