FastBridge Teacher Administered Assessments and Progress Monitoring

The FastBridge earlyReading assessments are a series of short tests given 1-on-1 to individual students measuring specific earlyReading skills (concepts of print, letter names, letter sounds, etc.) Students are given a copy of the assessment sheet (or just follow oral directions) and teachers assess their responses and mark the student score in the FastBridge system. 

Teachers are provided with binders with the student handouts or PDF copies of the student sheets and administrative directions are found below. 

The list of specific screening assessments for each grade level is provided on the Assessment Calendar. 

Students must be given all of the earlyReading assessments before certain reports (Screening to Intervention) will populate. 

The FastBridge CBM Reading assessment consists of a series of quick reads (1 min.) from predetermined passages. Students read the passages aloud to teachers and teacher enter the errors, end word, and comprehension question scores into the FastBridge system.

Students must be given both the aReading and CBM Reading (known together as FastTrack Reading) assessments before certain reports (Screening to Intervention) will populate.

The CBM Math Automaticity Screener is a short (4 min timed) computer based assessment given to students online the same way that they take the aMath assessment. If FastTrack Math is selected, the system will automatically administer this test to students first, and then it will administer the aMath test.
