Horizon College Readiness Assessment through Progress Learning
The Horizon College Readiness assessment system administered through Progress Learning is specifically designed to help students and educators prepare students for the College Board PSAT and SAT assessments while also giving educators actionable data to monitor student growth and instructional impact.
Teacher Access:
Teachers do NOT need to assign the tests to students or set up test sessions. This will be done automatically at the district level. For directions on accessing reports, refer to the links in the Resources section below. If there are issues, please contact Joey Birdsall or the help desk.
Teachers should also now be able to log in to Progress Learning by first going to their Clever page (login with Google) and then choosing the Progress Learning icon at the bottom.
Student Access:
New this year, students will access the horizon assessments in the Progress Learning test platform using their Clever sign on. These assessments will be automatically assigned and pushed out to students as appropriate. To access the system follow these directions:
Horizon Test Navigation (student slide deck with step by step instructions)
Student Score Access:
Students are able to access their scores through the Progress Learning portal linked above. Scores will automatically be shown to students immediately after testing. If they want to revisit scores, they can click on Graded Work once they are logged into Progress Learning.
